Where did January go?

Life has been pretty hectic since the new year, so here's a brief update on me. Pics to come soon (hopefully). I chopped off my hair. I wanted to get it short like a haircut I used to have back when I was in my early 20's but it turned out to look more like a plain old bob. Now I have mommy hair :/ Need highlights or something to spruce it up but that will have to wait until I get some free time again. I was finally able to use the gift certificate Muriel gave me as a bridesmaid gift for a much needed 90 minute massage. It was heaven. THANKS Muri! In an attempt to make some extra money I started eBaying. I've already sold one purse :). I also went into ticket brokering and sold some tickets to the Jay-Z Inauguration Concert. It was too much work and stress so don't think I'll be doing that again anytime soon. But it taught me that craigslist.com sucks. Mike got to go to the concert though and had an amazing time. Mary J, Beyonce, and TI all performed. Check out Mike's Blog for pics and video. In other news, NKOTB is hosting a cruise. First thoughts, BIG mistake. I guess they are going to run this reunion thing into the ground. Oh well, the cruise sold out in 48 hours so I guess there's still some crazies out there. Tuesday was the inauguration. Mike and Jason were going to attempt to go down to the Mall but when we woke up and saw the crowds, decided against it. Instead we dropped Noah off at daycare, had breakfast with Mae, Dee, and Eric, and then watched all the festivities on TV at home. It was a very exciting day. So many tourists in DC. It was great! Since it was so cold, we didn't get a chance to participate in any of the inauguration events like the balls. I've always wanted to go to an inaugural ball but didn't get a chance to go when I was in college (can't remember why). Anyway, the Neighborhood Ball looked way more fun than the Youth Ball. Oh well maybe in another 4 years. I had off until Thursday due to MLK Day, the Inauguration, and a work from home day so got a lot done, but now I'm sick. Does it ever end?! So that's briefly some of the things I've been up to. Will have to start writing "real" posts soon. Until then. Later.

Lots going on. No time to blog. Got a haircut. Pics to come. Got a massage (Thanks Muri!). Selling Jay-Z tickets. Inauguration around the corner. DC is going to be crazy! NKOTB is having a concert cruise. It is almost sold out. Not for me though. Will try to blog more this weekend.
